Another weekend in Paradise

Oh how I love the winter season:) We decided to take Claire to the doctor again because her fever seemed to be lingering and her congestion was getting worse. Her ears still looked good, but Dr decided to treat her with an antibiotic and decongestant for a sinus infection. This afternoon and evening she did not have a fever and actually ate some baby food for the first time in days. I have a feeling she is on the mend. Ella now seems to be getting a cold. No shock there. She had possibly her biggest "melt down" tonight. She was in bed at 7:30 if that is any indicator. We can only hope for a better day tomorrow. To release my stress my neighbor Kristy and I went running in the snow for 4miles. It was exhilarating to say the least.

Here are some pics of Ella playing in the snow today by herself (pretty sad looking)

Hang in there even though I'm sure there are more melt downs to come. You are a wonderful mother and all of your patients, persistence , and work will someday pay off in proof of 2 wonderfully raised little girls. We can do it!
It was great running with you tonight. It feels so good to do something like that for ourselves.

i hope everybody starts to feel better soon.
hang in there with ella. i don't have much wisdom or advice (b/c i have a 3 year old with his own issues) but i think persistence and consistency is the key.
