What a crazy but great 2012!! I am going to try to do a better job of blogging this year😃
Our third bundle of joy, William Ryan, came into the world August 3rd at 1:15 am weighing a whopping 9lbs 1oz, 21.5 inches long! He has been a great baby so far, just growing way too fast! He now is 5 months old weighing 17.8lbs and 27 inches long. His big sisters are so in love with him! Ella and Claire are doing well. Ella is in 1st grade and loving it. Claire is in preschool and always wants to go more. Chris and I are doing well, finally adjusting to being parents of 3.
So here's to blogging more, since I don't do baby books this will be the next best thing. I am still trying to figure out how to upload photos to the blog from the iPad, hopefully I figure it out soon!

Boy oh Boy!!!!
Claire riding with my dad on her new tag a long
The title says it all!!!! Our third child is a boy:) The thought of having a son still hasn't sunk in yet. We are so happy and blessed that he is healthy and growing. The girls are so excited to have a brother. We went shopping for him the other day and they were gitty picking out clothes and looking at "boy things." Can't wait to see how the dynamics will change with adding this new bundle of joy!!! The girls have been loving this weather!!!! The above picture is from this past weekend, what a beautiful day filled with fun and family. Ella is doing great in school, reading like a champ and making great new friends. Claire is doing well, showing us some wonderful temper tantrums. She is enrolled for pre-school this fall!! This will be a good thing for both her and I:) Chris's job is going well. No new changes so far, thank goodness. I started working prn this past month at an Endoscopy center. It seems to be a great fit with the hours and flexibility. Life is good at the DesJeans!!!!

December at a glance
Well for some reason the blog will not let me start typing at the top so I will start typing at the bottom!! This past month has went by in a blurr. We had a very blessed Christmas this year. The girls were into everything from Santa to baby Jesus's birthday and everything in between. It is wonderful to watch them mature into little ladies and get the real reason we celebrate Christmas. We were able to make all of our stops this year including Chris's grandpa's 90th birthday celebration. What a great celebration to see his grandparents and all of the aunts, uncles and cousins. We were also able to spend some time with Chris's parents before they headed down to Florida for the winter. I am sure they are going to miss all of our snow and cold weather!! I had a great plan of visiting all of our friends over break, but that quickly changed due to Ella coming down with the flu again!!! Hopefully we can catch up with everyone sometime soon! Another highlight of our break was the chance to go ice skating for a birthday party. The kids had a blast and Ella is interested in taking lessons. The pictures above don't quite capture the moments:) Poor Ella tried so hard and never gave up. Her poor legs were black and blue the next day, but she wants to do it again! Glad to see she wasn't deterred from doing something that is challenging. The girls both started gymnastics this past week. It is very nice because they both are taking classes at the same time, which requires only one trip per week:) I think that pretty much sums up our last month in a nutshell. Hoping to do more posts to keep Phil and Sue in the loop down in Florida:)

Happy 6th Birthday Ella
Ella turns 6 tomorrow, hard to believe it's been six years since she entered into this world. She has become quite the little lady and a joy to have around. We celebrated her birthday yesterday with friends and family. Thanks again to everyone who came to celebrate with us. It meant a lot to her to have her friends come from "far away." She received Julie Albright for her gift from Chris and I. Her excitement was great to watch. She has talked about getting an American Girl Doll for quite some time. She is definitely in love! The pictures below show it all. Happy Birthday Ella Bug!!!!

All Together Again!
What a blurr this past week has been. We are officially moved and together as a family once again, yay!!!!! Last Thursday we started loading our trucks around noon and finished around 8pm with the help of wonderful family and friends. On our way out of our house we were hit with the surprise of our garage door not working! How wonderful considering we were to close in 12 hours. With the help of a great neighbor and my husband the garage door was fixed, praise the lord!! On Friday we closed on both homes without too many issues. Then that evening we cleaned and unloaded our first truck!!! Thanks to all that helped! On Saturday our large moving truck arrived and was unloaded within 2 hours. Once again a huge thanks goes out to our families for their wonderful help. We are pretty much settled and everyone is well. Ella seems to be finally adjusting to school and is now riding the bus to and from. She is still crying at times during school but I am hoping that this will pass since we are all together and a new normal routine has begun. I am hopefully optimistic. Claire is the same ole crazy Claire. She did request to go back to her old house when she got in trouble earlier in the week. Very funny to hear her say that. I will post some pics soon once I actually take pictures:)
